GENENT
GENENT is a tool improving the software quality of source files of a complex application. By means of lexical and syntactic analysis, GENENT generates some headers of formalized comments inside source files. For a file, the header gives general information. For a function, it describes and orders called/calling functions, input/output arguments, global and local variables. The user can complete these comments if necessary by adding text in the headers. These adjustments will be saved at the next pass of GENENT. GENENT is a reverse-engineering tool, helping programmers to comment rapidly source code. GENENT applies to FORTRAN and soon to C source files.
